Brent Smith, Canada - LLB Law

The fast-track program was the biggest seller as I could complete my studies a year earlier. I was attracted to the UK since I had an urge to travel, also the LLB is transferrable upon completion and after writing the Canadian NCA exams. International advisors have been absolutely great. The Ontario student assistance program provides quite a few hurdles to leap over and the staff here have been very helpful and patient with the procedures. Tutors are fantastic. Very knowledgeable, very helpful and are legitimately concerned with student success. After going to a large University like Carleton, it’s quite refreshing getting to know tutors on a more personable basis as well as learning in a more manageable class room

Besides conducting courses having a global outlook with an internationally relevant curriculum, the university is well known for its innovative, high quality teaching, learning and research.. The lecturer’s assistance in terms of educational and personal developments via academic review tutor results in a very promising atmosphere for me. Similarly, under practical programme nature, the classes have boosted my confidence through participations. The staffs are also seemed to be committed in assisting all their students to succeed in their studies.

The Welcome Week has enabled me to organize myself more systematically in terms of registration and enrolment, place of stay at the university’s hall of residence, adapt to the surrounding such as culture, weather, local people, transportation system and many more; and build good relationship with other students, university staffs and local communities too. I would strongly recommend this to international students who are first time studying abroad.
