There are around 700 students enrolled at K-State Polytechnic. More than 140 students from around the world, representing over 61 different countries make up the K-State Polytechnic family, as well as students from every state in the United States. Nearly 85 percent of the student body is Kansas residents.
Kansas State University's Polytechnic Campus is located in Salina, Kansas. With a population of about 50,000 residents, the city of Salina offers the perfect blend of big city amenities and small-town ambience and charm. Salina has a strong arts scene and boasts many musical and cultural events, sports facilities, restaurants and shopping areas. Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy the downtown district within Salina, walking trails and more than 700 acres of parks, as well as lakes and the nearby Flint Hills. Salina is only an hour's drive to the Manhattan campus and the state's largest city, Wichita.
