Moises Daniel Garcia Rojas, Mexico - MSc Data Engineering

Jacobs University is a fantastic place to study. The internationality of staff and students make me improve myself. Also I’m surrounded by funny people with whom I can get along very well. Stephanie Knizkov, Israel - MSc Supply Chain Engineering and Management

My name is Stephanie Knizkov, I am studying Supply Chain Engineering and Management. One of the most compelling aspects for me in this master’s degree is the emphasis it places on integrating industry and academia, with internship experiences and industrial projects, all of which help students understand the complexities that are present even in highly local logistics operations. Another interesting aspect of the SCEM program is its interdisciplinary focus with both engineering and management classes.

The first thing one notices at Jacobs are the benefits of the cultural diversity on campus. The multitude of perspectives brought to each course are in my opinion a true asset both for personal development as well as in enriching the discussions during classes.

By the end of the program, I will have finished industrial projects, combining academic learning and research with current problems of the industry, in addition to the master’s thesis. The intense support each student receives, the breadth of the program and the encouragement we receive for being curious and learning will enable me to succeed regardless of whether I proceed with academia or choose to work after graduation.
