What will I study a graduate human resources program?

Human resources is a growing sector which is becoming increasingly important to business. The sector is constantly evolving as companies recognise how important recruiting the right staff and motivating them is.
As such, large organisations are increasingly employing graduates with human resources qualifications into management roles. A graduate human resources program will teach you about employment law and discrimination, about resourcing and management development, and about how to improve individual employees’ output.
Assessment is usually set through a variety of examinations, coursework, group work and case studies.

Length of program

The length of a graduate human resources program depends on where you study and how far you want to go into academia. Postgraduate courses generally last the following duration in these countries:

Entry requirements

In order to get onto most graduate human resources programs you should have a minimum second class degree qualification or an overseas equivalent. It is not normally necessary to have a previous qualification in business or a related social science.  

If you are studying in a country where the first language is different from your own, you may be required to take a language test to prove your skills.
