“While deciding to pursue an education abroad, of course, the most important criteria for me were the quality of the education, affordability, and the opportunity to find a job after graduation. For these reasons, Centennial College was always in the top three in my options. Well, I can say that all my expectations have been met so far. The College is modern and well designed. The professors have great experience in their fields and support their lessons with many samples from the real world, which helps me to be ready for the Canadian working environment. Also, the diversity in classes helped me to see how solutions and ideas might be different and creative from different cultures”
“Graduating from the Script to Screen program has opened doors to a world of possibilities I didn't know existed! From working with award-winning professionals to being an assistant director for Broadway stars, the plethora of networking and training experiences the program gave me has been truly valuable. Program Coordinator, Steve Lucas, is probably the most invested educator I have come across. I never knew that one individual could have such a powerful, positive impact on one's confidence and self-esteem. Although my resume now has a ton of new tangible skills thanks to this program, the support and earned trust of an industry professional has helped me in ways far beyond what can be put on a piece of paper."
“I am currently working for RBC Investor and Treasury, and this is my fourth position in under three years. The knowledge that I acquired at Centennial College has helped me to move from job to job easier.”
“The most exciting part of studying in my program is laboratory work. During classes, I act as a real laboratory technician, provide my own observations, design and perform experiments.”
“My teachers were always there for me and very helpful in understanding the culture in Canada. In particular, my International Business Law, Employment Preparedness class and Centennial’s networking events were instrumental in my success after graduation.”
“You find professors here that teach you how to grow up as a person and as a professional. This world needs people like the ones we found at Centennial College, that make you believe in yourself and help you to raise your self-esteem to believe that you are important to the world.”
“I choose Centennial College because it is affordable, offering a multicultural experience and quality education. Here in Centennial, we engage in a lot of teamwork, use technological tools and sources for each course. I enrolled to HR Management program that prepares students to cover most components of Human Resources Management. Especially the co-op course gives the feeling of self-improvement and excitement about entering job market. I am learning to adapt to a diversified community most importantly. I recommend Centennial because if you have strong career goals and expectations, it is worth it!”
“The learning style at Suzhou Centennial College is very different from our Chinese learning style. I like the teamwork. You can talk with many people from the international world, and meet many international students. That’s why I chose this school; it lets me open up my mind. I am participating in the Chinese Buddy Program at SCC. We are a group of 50 peer mentors that help welcome international and exchange students to China and Suzhou Centennial College.”
“I participated in a Faculty Lead International Program offered by Centennial College. We went to China to learn how to do business on an international scale. We utilized our opportunities in understanding the Chinese method, or the Chinese way of doing business. I participated in interactive sessions with managers and COOs of companies, including Samsung. We received the opportunity to ask them questions about what it is like to do business in a manufacturing facility in China. With the diversities in the college, I am able to develop myself as an individual and experience a whole different culture and a whole different way of living. I would encourage any Centennial student, once you see the email comes out about FLIP go ahead and give it a try!”
