Georgia is a great study destination for international graduate students. Georgia has 32 private universities and 34 state universities. Georgia's universities and colleges have a long heritage; the oldest university was established in 1785. Georgian universities and colleges are particularly strong in the fields of biomedical and health sciences.

All universities and colleges, state and private have to be part of a higher education system accredited by the State. This ensures that all students who study here will be getting a first-rate education recognised the world over. The Georgia Board of Regents monitors higher education and set goals and policies for all universities and colleges in the State. Georgia's universities and colleges have gained international recognition in the medical field and have received many rewards for their achievements.

Georgia has so much to offer international students. The extensive network of rivers that run through Georgia present many opportunities for water sports. Alternatively, Georgia offers hiking, cycling, and driving trails. These trails offer an excellent opportunity to experience the beautiful scenery of Georgia. You can explore Georgia from the mountains or the coast and from the scenic highways and byways. Living in Georgia

Georgia offers inexpensive housing in good neighbourhoods. Many people are migrating to Georgia for this very reason. As an international student, you should easily find very economically priced houses and apartments.

Georgia is located on the eastern shore line of the United States of America. Due to its location, Georgia has a humid subtropical climate with high temperature summers and slightly cooler winters. Since Georgia is on the coast it doesn't experience long amounts of humidity everyday.
