POLI.design, established in 1999, is a Consortium of the Politecnico di Milano, the University which has initiated, in 1993, the first undergraduate course in Industrial Design in Italy and with the highest number of dedicated researcher worldwide.
The Consortium’s aim is to bring out the Design System of the Politecnico with a particular focus on the structures and the university teachers coming from the most innovative laboratories among Europe located within the Bovisa campus.
POLI.design is a link between the industrial production world and the work and ideas elaborated by who plans, organizes, teaches and studies the design. It is a place, an instrument, a strong think tank which gives impulse to the profession, to the search and the creativeness.
It is a subject that intends to play an important role in the promotion of the design more and more as it systematizes cultural.
Politecnico di Milano is a scientific-technological university which trains engineers, architects and industrial designers. The University has always focused on the quality and innovation of its teaching and research developing a fruitful relationship with business and productive world by means of experimental research and technological transfer.

Summer School
Milano Summer School is a project organized by the City of Milan that offers the possibility to immerge into a city among the most beautiful and dynamic in Europe: a summer in Milan, made of sun, training, culture and entertainment.
The City of Milan in collaboration with universities and higher institutes of learning in Milan promotes the educational offer of the city and creates an international community to give to young talent a chance to experience a special holidays in one of the major capitals of Innovation and Creativity. Poli.design, Consortium of Politecnico di Milano, participates to the Milano Summer School project with a high level courses offer.
