IED is the biggest international network of Fashion, Design ,Visual Arts and Communication schools, with seats in Milan, Rome, Turin , Venice, Florence, Madrid , Barcelona , Sao Paulo, and Rio de Janeiro.
42 years of international recognition and worldwide fame have brought IED to be by far the top Fashion and Design School in Europe: now IED has more than 9.500 students coming from 95 countries.
IED is “multiculturally international”: its courses are taught in four different languages.About 75 courses are taught directly in English.

"Creative diary"- IED international network grant scholarships
Daily showcase world young creatives who compete to win IED international scholarships for its master courses for the 2009-2010 school year for studies in Rome, Milan, Turin, Venice, Barcelona, and Madrid.
This competition is allowed to international candidates. IED rewards the creative talents of participants between 20 years and 45 years oldadmitted with a master courses free tution in its schools of Design, Fashion, Visual Arts and Communication.
There are four design ideas to be developed, one for each school. “Design for the better world” is the theme of this competition. The authors must create some project reflecting or promoting a better and sustainable world across the art, fashion and design.
The projects and images selected will be published on the site www.creativediary.net and that can be rated and commented by visitors. Candidates will be able to check the rating of the public and read the opinions about their creativity.
Entries may be sent by e-mail or mail (scholarships@ied.edu). A jury of experts will award scholarships to best works. The deadline for submitting projects is September 15, 2009.
