Undertaking an MBA is probably one of the most important decisions you will ever make in terms of your personal and professional development. It is also a significant financial investment so you want to be sure you'll receive value for money. Here are some of the reasons why the Leicester Business School MBA could be right for you.
The
MBA structure brings to the fore current
thinking through an integrated learning
approach to management education,
reflecting the increasingly holistic
nature of a manager’s role in
today’s society.
The MBA commences with an induction programme covering the fundamentals of management education. This levelling programme will allow participants from business and non-business backgrounds to attain equivalence in their knowledge base before embarking on the MBA programme.
The MBA will lead with core modules that broaden and critically examine key business and management fundamentals. To enhance the integration of these core modules, Strategy in a Complex Environment will form a “linchpin” module, pulling together the strategic management skills within the core modules, equipping participants with the ability to think conceptually and holistically.
Dissertation
or In-Company Project
MBA students undertake either a full-length
research-based dissertation or a shorter
In-company Project, a new alternative
to the dissertation allowing students
to undertake a strategic management
project with a regional employer –
first hand experience of UK management.
Tuition
Fees and Living Expenses
The Leicester Business School
MBA is competitively priced, and for
September 2006 entry, the full-time

The cost of living in Leicester is below the national average in the UK – Leicester is a vibrant but inexpensive city, making it the ideal location for students. We estimate that students require approximately £6,000 per year to cover living expenses.
